What are Google Shopping Ads?

Google Shopping Ads are the product listings that show an image, price and store name at the top of Google. They pull from your product feed, not keywords, so a clean, well-optimised feed decides which searches you appear for and how well you sell.

This is the big difference from text ads. You don’t bid on keywords directly. Instead, Google reads your product data—your titles, descriptions, images, prices and attributes—and matches it to searches. A messy feed means you show for the wrong terms or not at all. A sharp one means the right buyers see the right products.
